About the Event

“SPOTLIGHT” is a short skit competition that empowers young students to showcase their creativity and passion for storytelling. This competition provides a platform for budding actors and playwrights to bring their ideas to life and captivate audiences with their unique perspectives. This competition will be looking for skits that are both creative and innovative. They seek entries that go beyond traditional approaches, not only entertain but also provoke thought and leave a lasting impact on the audience. Maximum number of teams – 100 Maximum number of students per team – 6 to 7

Rules

  • Students can make a short skit in any location of the university on the day of the event and best 20 submissions selected from 100 who will be asked to perform the skit live in Open Amphitheatre in front of the judges on the day of the event
  • The skit must be of maximum 5 – 8 minutes.
  • Video format must be either .mp4 or .mov
