About the Event

Showcase your craftsmanship by creating something extraordinary from something that you no longer use to celebrate innovation and the environment. You are required to make an innovative model based on a theme that you will be notified a few days prior to the event. And here, you will compete with fellow innovators who have different takes on the same theme. Cool prizes await the winners! Sustainability is a core theme of the event. Participants are urged to reuse materials and use items available easily that are considered waste, for building the models. The highlight of the event is raising awareness about environmental issues among students, to bring about solutions and change in the world. Maximum number of teams – 200 Number of students per team – 2 to 3

Rules

  • Students must bring their own materials. The university will not provide any.
  • The theme for the competition will be announced a few days before the event to give the participants enough time to prepare and brainstorm ideas.

  • The model must be in line with the theme. Failure to comply will result in disqualification.
  • Presentations should include a brief explanation of the concept, the materials used, and how they contribute to sustainability.
  • Round 1:
    1 The teams will be judged on the basis of their models
  • The second round is for Presentation. A chart must be prepared for the explanation of their idea. The participants must base their explanation on:
    1. waste management
    2. how the model they built for the event would be
    3. useful to the people, or the society
    4. how it can be implemented in
    5. a higher level a list of materials they used.
